Welcome to the official website of the Papal Visit to Lebanon (the "Website").

This Website is managed by the Presidency of the Republic of Lebanon, in collaboration with the Press Office of the Holy See and the Assemblée des Patriarches et des Evêques Catholiques du Liban (APECL) (collectively, the "Organizers" or "We" or "Us" or "Our").

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Website. These Terms and Conditions form the entire agreement between the individual accessing or using the Website ("User", "Users", "You", "Your") and the Organizers regarding the use of the Website (the "Terms and Conditions" or "Terms").

1.1 These Terms and Conditions set out the rights and obligations of all Users regarding the use of the Website.

1.2 Access to and use of the Website is conditioned upon the Users' acceptance of and compliance with these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions apply to all Users who access or use the Website.

2.1 This Website is designed to provide Users with general information, news, photos, videos, and updates regarding the Apostolic Visit of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV to Lebanon.

2.2 It is important to clarify that We do not publish any content or provide any services targeted at children under sixteen (16) years of age.

5.1 The Organizers’ trademarks, whether figurative or not, and, in general, any other trademarks, illustrations, images, designs, models, and logos displayed on the Website are and shall remain the exclusive property of the Press Office of the Holy See, the Assemblée des Patriarches et des Evêques Catholiques du Liban (APECL), and/or the Lebanese Government. All content published on the Website is protected by copyright.

5.2 Nothing herein shall be construed as granting Users any right, title, or interest in the trademarks, copyrights, products, distinctive signs of the Press Office of the Holy See, the Assemblée des Patriarches et des Evêques Catholiques du Liban, and/or the Lebanese Government, or any intellectual property rights attached thereto.

5.3 You undertake not to download, disseminate, reproduce, or modify the Website, in whole or in part, in any form whatsoever, without prior written permission from one of the Organizers.

5.4 Other trademarks used on the Website that belong to third parties are used with their permission and remain their property.

6. INFORMATION COLLECTED

6.1 The Organizers collect limited personally identifiable information ("Personal Data") (such as contact details or press accreditation requests) when You use the Website, solely for administrative or communication purposes related to the Papal Visit.

  • Respond to Your inquiries;

11.2 By continuing to access or use the Website after such revisions become effective, You agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If You do not agree to the revised Terms, in whole or in part, You must stop using the Website.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and any dispute between the Organizers and the Users related to the use of the Website shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lebanon, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

13. DISPUTES RESOLUTION

Unless the Organizers and the User agree otherwise, in the event that the dispute resolution mechanism set out herein is found not to apply to the User or to a particular claim or dispute for any reason, the User agrees that any claim or dispute that has arisen or may arise between the Organizers and the User related to the use of the Website shall be resolved exclusively by the competent courts of Beirut.
